Qualifications Radiology Technologist (Weekends) Anticipated
schedule: Saturday/Sunday/Monday 7a-730p Our imaging teams are a
committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking
a Florida-licensed Radiology Technologist on a full-time basis. You
will take radiographs (x-rays) of patients which will assist
physicians in diagnoses and treatment and perform procedures
accurately and in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.

responsibilities as a Radiology Tech, or X-Ray Tech, may include:
You will possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic
radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical,
portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures.
You will obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
utilizing appropriate lead markers as well as date and time
stickers where indicated You will select proper and accurate
technical factors and techniques to accommodate patient and assist
in administration of contrast media when indicated. You will
prepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty,
safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated. You
will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam,
obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within
MEDITECH accurately and on time. You will maintain proactive and
effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues
to include the radiologist. You will check the operation of the
equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent
cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked
with linens and necessary supplies. Qualifications: 2-year or
Associate degree Valid ARRT credentials Clear/active Florida
Department of Health licensure (CRT) Current Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably
in an acute-care hospital setting Ability to perform work which
requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling,
moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
