Job Description:
Comprehensive MedPsych Systems, part of the Optum family of
businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our
team in Sarasota FL. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team,
you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better
for everyone. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, you will treat a
wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of

care. Primary Responsibilities: - Conduct individual, family or
group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity
guidelines; involve patient and/or family in treatment planning as
appropriate - Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment program
for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presenting
mental health conditions - Conduct psychological assessments and
interpret results - Lead crisis intervention methods and provide
insight into the development of functional assessments and
behavioral intervention plans - Maintain accurate and up-to-date
electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring
compliance with all regulatory requirements We are committed to

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - Active and
unrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of Florida - 2 years
of experience providing direct psychotherapy services to
individuals, families and/or groups - Currently eligible to be
enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate
opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position Preferred
Qualifications: - Ability to work with a wide range of clinical
presentations - Experience evaluating adults and/or children in an
outpatient clinical setting - Ability to complete diagnostic
assessments, general psychiatric testing, and provide direct
therapy in an outpatient clinical setting - Proven knowledge and
experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other
evidence-based interventions - Experience with health psychology -
Experience working with computers for professional communication
and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other

role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local
labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
