Job Description:
A company is looking for a Nuclear Design/Reload Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Perform core design and analysis for advanced nuclear reactors,
including optimization of fuel management and reactivity
coefficients
Design and analyze new systems to solve complex nuclear-related
problems and execute sensitivity studies
Establish and maintain documentation of analysis results and
neutronic design solutions
Key Qualifications and Skills
B.S. in Nuclear Engineering with 5-20 years of experience, or M.S.
with 3-15 years, or Ph.D. with 2-10 years
Experience with commercial reactor reload analysis and core design
and analysis
Strong computational expertise in nuclear engineering and
familiarity with relevant software
Experience in transient analysis, thermal hydraulics, and fuel
performance is desired
Experience working in NQA-1 environments is preferred
