Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to
provide on-site services at multiple elementary schools in the
Bradenton, FL area. These positions focus on delivering specialized
speech and language support within Title 1 public school settings
for young students, including those in special education and autism
spectrum disorder (ASD) programs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct
speech and language evaluations, develop Individualized Education
Programs (IEPs), and provide ongoing therapy services to students
aged preschool to elementary. Collaborate closely with educational
teams to integrate speech services into classroom and specialized
settings. For schools where Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
(SLPAs) are part of the team, supervise SLPA activities in
accordance with state regulations. Maintain compliance with
district policies and state licensing requirements. Document
progress and participate in meetings related to student educational
planning. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Florida SLP license
required; Masters degree preferred. Candidates with a Bachelors
degree will be considered if they hold appropriate licensure.
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Prior experience working with young children in school settings,
especially within ASD and special education programs, is highly
desirable. Ability to work full-time, across three schools: Ballard
Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, and Abel Elementary (Abel
assignment through May). Location & Schedule: Bradenton, FL
elementary schools. Full-time schedule up to contract end date: May
29, 2026. Immediate availability preferred. Benefits & Professional
