Responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Specialist Manage end-to-end weekly payroll processing for 300 hourly field and office employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance Administer semi-monthly payroll for 227 salaried employees with precision and timeliness Audit and verify overtime hours to ensure adherence to labor regulations and company policies Generate and analyze key payroll reports, including job cost breakdowns and certified payroll documentation Upload and maintain payroll records and reports in the internal system for compliance and reference Coordinate timely submission of 401(k) contributions with each payroll cycle Responsible for handling off-cycle bonus disbursements Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, reinforcing your expertise as a Senior Payroll Specialist Requirements for the Senior Payroll Specialist Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience, including processing, auditing, and reporting Strong understanding of federal and state payroll laws, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll practices Proven experience managing payroll checks, deductions, garnishments, and benefits Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to ask for support when needed Prior experience with Miter payroll software is a plus Familiarity with the construction industry and job-costing environments is a bonus The ideal Senior Payroll Specialist will bring both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career as a Senior Payroll Specialist while making an impact within a dynamic and supportive company.
