Job Details Job Details: We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in the Healthcare industry. This exciting role will allow you to apply your accounting skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including month-end close, journal entries, cash and sales transactions, supporting schedules, and recording, monitoring, and proposing monthly accruals. Responsibilities: As a Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Performing month-end closing procedures and postings, ensuring all financial data has been recorded accurately. 2. Preparing and posting of journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. 3. Managing cash and sales transactions, ensuring all cash receipts and sales are accounted for correctly. 4. Preparing supporting schedules for the month-end close process. 5. Recording, monitoring, and proposing monthly accruals, ensuring all expenses are recognized in the correct period. 6. Collaborating with team members to improve financial processes and procedures. 7. Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. 8. Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation. 9. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Healthcare industry. 3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. 4. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work. 7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 9. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
