This critical role will manage key financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.You'll work closely with leadership, help shape internal processes, and contribute to a collaborative team culture in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.What You'll DoLead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocationsReconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and analyze financial statements and support monthly variance analysis for executive leadershipPartner with the Controller to implement internal controls and streamline accounting proceduresEnsure full compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesAssist with budgeting and forecasting by providing financial insights and modelingSupport external audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiriesAssist with inventory and COGS reporting and analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and operationsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus)5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financeStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principlesProficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions a plus)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalismAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic work environmentLeadership and team collaboration experienceAbility to pass a background check and drug screenWork Environment--Hybrid work model: a mix of remote and in-office work- Our office is located in Bradenton, FLWhy You'll Love Working at Service MindsWe're committed to helping you thrive both professionally and personally.
